National Wild Bird Feeding Month Is Here!

And, it’s also nearly gone!

Bushtits mass on a birdfeeder in Salem, Oregon.

I just learned that February is National Wild Bird Feeding Month!  And none too soon either, since February is nearing an end!

I don’t feel too guilty, though.  I have kept my wild birds plied with good food of all kinds this winter.  Several kinds of suet and seed feeders along with fresh water in their luxury hot tub (heated bird bath) have helped them through the winter months.

If you haven’t taken an opportunity to celebrate your birds this month, you still have some time.  I have some extra suet cakes if you need a spare!
